reason eh.. hmm.. any others out there?
cubase,samplitude,protools and logic(mac)
memba its hard to build a riddim only with software...protools needs a dedicated soundcard
Nope, your not going to be able to build riddims with any of these programs as a stand alone. Go with Fruity Loops, Reason or Garage Band (MAC) as the 1st posted stated. BTW it's not anymore or less difficult to make riddims with just software. It's being done everyday. Just for your information see 9th wonder (producer of "threats" on Jay-Z black Album as well as other hits) he uses only fruity loops.Originally Posted by moe_fiyah

Definitely start out with Fruity Loops. In my opinion, it is much easier to grasp the basics of riddim production, composition, format, etc with Fruity Loops. I have Reasons too, but it has never interested me enough to give up Fruity Loops totally. I have been using Fruity Loops for over 6 years now with over 100 beats and riddims built to date.
I primarily use Reason
