Default Why Do we Bury our Dead??

Next to GOLF COURSES...Grave Yards have got to be the biggest waste of valuable Real estate...ever!!

After People plant the Dead.....How many people actually Go back Go Visit Them??... Wouldnt it be more beneficial to cremate the dead.....and Keep the Ashes in you Possession.....??......Shit....The Dead will be readily available & accessable?

Fuck Humans plant thier dead for?.........not like they gonna turn into Oil later down the line!

I think they do it to be put back into the earth.

I seen this one thing on a tribe down in dentral america. They live around the banks of a lake that has freshwater sharks. Their old tradition was to drag their dead behind them inna di boats and let the sharks eat the. That a badman funeral for real.

I dont know but I think it goes back to Egyptians and older traditions where they used to mummify their dead in the hopes of them resurrecting....some people still revere the dead so they bury them in these elaborate crypts and whatnot because it would be sacrilegious to do otherwise.

Believe it or not its just one of those age old traditions that has become part of the human psyche.....I don't think there is a real reason....I might be wrong but religion has the closest rational that could justify this but overal there is no real reason.....I think

actually a cemetary is a great investment. All u need to do is upkeep the land,( landscaping )and people pay up to $20 thousand for the plots. People buy family plots, and the gravestones alone can cost up to $50 thousand.

dust to dust...made from the earth return to the earth...i think thats the reasoning behind it...

graveyards though...I dont love the idea...My first choice would have been to be creamated

my man plans to have his family buried on his own land. i guess if I become a part of the family, I have my plot waiting already!

my grandparents have a family plot... holes are 12 ft deep. spouses on top of each other. family side by side...... my grandparents have bought and seen where they will be laid to rest...weird.

Now see my other grandparents were cremated and they stay in the living room. My youngest daughter was walking around with my grandfathers urn like it was a doll..... For those reasons I`d rather be cremated then buirried.

I'm serious....From you Dead...and it's only the SPIRIT they concern about.....why the need to shove people in boxes (EXPENSIVE ONES AT THAT) then shove them inna ground??

anyhoo.. back to the original question(s)

we bury our dead because by law we have to either bury our dead 6 feet under or cremate them...sanitary reasons.... I'm sure some of us woulda lef dem a bush if we could

we bury them on prime land because ...well like you said most land is now prime real estate.. so therefore.. I think you answered your own question..

now go back to ur skliff

What`s done with human remains usually depends on the faith of that person. Some people believe the body should be burned and ashes put somewhere significant. The concept behind burying a body initially was as simple as "the circle of life".... LIFE FEEDS ON LIFE. Other than that it`s a respect thing .. the mark of the end of a human life that was significant to someone else out there.

PLUS it`s a very lucrative business that stimulates our economy as well

people bury the dead because they believe that u come from the earth so when u die u must go back from where u came. that's why u say ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

If u ever go dovecot inna jamaica, these niggas got layers upon layers of dead people.
Like pon one grave site u would have 12 people.
