    1. Sanchez - Always teefing and singing songs better than the original tune dem.
    2. JR Kelly - Nice riddims, style, and lyrics...
    3. Freddie Everready McGregor - Do I really need to say why?
    4. Dennis Brown - Again, not much to say...
    5. Garnnett Silk -- Again, not much to say again...

    However, Mr. Nesta Marley really tek the top, but mi leff him out cause he is really an exception/special situation

    Well, I rate Gregory's work from after 85 too, BUT, I rate his work from before 1985 much higher. Albums like All I Have Is Love, Extra Classic, Cool Ruler, Soon Forward, Mr. Isaacs, Sly & Robbie present..., Lonely Lover, Night Nurse, Out Deh, More Gregory etc. are all from before 85 and in my opinion Gregory never equalled that standard after that (an incredible high standard, that is). That's why.
