Default Help configuring Plesk and setting up a name server

Here's the situation. I have a server and it has Plesk on it. I need help or someone to configure it. Also I have a domain name with godaddy, but I want to make it my name server. I think I understand setting it up from godaddys end but not on my server end. Can anyone help with this. Keeping in mind I am rookie when it comes to this.

point godaddy domain name to your server, put in the ip address, then in plesk, add the domain name, allow 72 hrs for it to propagate, configuring the server should be pretty simple, it should have tips in it as well as a help function but am sure others can help

    Thanks.
I was told I needed a name server hosting. I tried to set up my godaddy account by using ns1.domainname.com and ns2 as the name servers, but I think I have to do someyhing on the server end so that this can work.

oh damn man, i went thru what you went thru but can't remember the steps, you have to consult godaddy's FAQ, it's pretty simple once you can do the steps but remember, dont pay any extra, godaddy should have a tutorial on how to do it, all you need is the IP address of your server

what you need is to make a custom name server, that's the 1st step

    look at this video

hope it helps and yea you need to set up something on ya server
