I'm listening to Rodi and he has an Ini Kamoze on this riddim and he says it from 83. I know the riddim is from the 70's but did Ini Kamoze have a chune on this riddim back in the day?

No its an eighties riddim. And not only the intro but the whole riddim is sampled and used for Welcome to Jamrock.
World A Music, a classic by Ini Kamoze, was released on 45 in 1983 and then featured on his self-titled album in 1984. It was a Taxi production.

No, that is not correct. The version now doing the rounds on Striker Lee is a 1984 cut of the riddim, hence it was produced after the Ini Kamoze/Taxi cut and the JAmmys cut of the riddim, which also was produced in 1983.

You give me a matrix-number and a producer name and Iīll be more than satisfied. The Gaylads original for sure ainīt the same riddim.
